Our TTC Journey

2007---  DH and I met.  A little while into our relationship we started to have intercourse using the "fool proof" pull out method.  We both new that at some point we would like to have children however now was not the right time.  Good thing our method of protection worked, ha!  I mean seriously does the pull out method work for anyone who doesn't have any problems TTC??

2008---  DH proposed and we continued our pull out method intercourse because hey it was working right!?!?

2009---  We got married, had most of our family and friends present and had a blast!  After the wedding we decided to stop preventing pregnancy and just see what God had in store for us.

September 2010--- Since we did not get pregnant with just preventing we decided to officially start our TTC journey.

September 2011---  One year on our TTC journey and still nothing.  At this point I blamed a lot of our problem on the fact that we worked opposite shifts at work and maybe we just weren't able to "meet up" enough during our fertile window.  So DH took a day shift position in order to help our odds.

February 2012--- The day before Super Bowl we got our First BFP!!  We were so excited and talked all day about how we were going to keep this little secret to ourselves since it was so new and we had a party to go to the next day.  Since I did not have any Super Bowl beverages a lot of our friends asked questions, but we played it off well.

February 2012---  Exactly 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant I started spotting.  In my heart I knew what was going to happen even though the first day it was literally just a drop of old blood.  Sometimes you just know though.  A few days later I was scheduled for my first BFP OB/GYN visit.  Got to the office and they asked me to pee in a cup, when I did and wiped there was blood clots.  It was Fat Tuesday (if your not aware of what fat Tuesday is it is the day before the start of Lent in the Catholic religion).  Up until Fat Tuesday I had not decided what I was going to give up for this Lent season, however God told me what I was giving up, my baby.

August 2012----  Still TTC with no luck.  At this point I have self diagnosed myself with endometriosis.  We are awaiting our first RE appointment.
